Lunch today at the Boulevard Hotel with my friends from the golf club... a dollar for every three putt was saved throughout the season to pay for today ...great day.

 

A perfect rose....a David Austen of course, one of the new ones I planted in the back garden.

Stormy weather this afternoon...this was taken at four o'clock in the afternoon...a dark and gloomy Lake Monger.

 

Tash at school with her piano cake that the Deputy Principal made her...how thoughtful is that!... and it was gluten free.

Tash and Todd on their front steps...what an amazing lunch they cooked for us today to celebrate Tasha's birthday!

 

Our italian lessons came to an end but luckily the friendships didn't, this evening we all got together for our usual end of year gathering at my place...with the husbands as well...and had a most enjoyable night. (Maree, Helen, Mandy, me and Pam)

 

Shopping at Station Street markets...it will be sad if they have to close.

Whilst on the subject of libraries, I went and had a look at how our new City of Perth library is coming along.....it is going to be fabulous when it is finished! (It was a shame it was so overcast after work this afternoon as the building looks quite dreary...will have to take another photo when the sky is blue).

This morning Marguerite, Juliet and I walked along the river at Maylands, the water was like glass ...

 

  

and this is the sculpture called "Shimmer" that is near the river in East Perth, I have been wanting to photograph it for ages, and just stumbled upon it this afternoon!

 

Beautiful at the beach this morning ... Pauline and I lagged behind the others to admire the shells, there were way more than usual.

This is Great Eastern Highway early this morning after we dropped Chris and Taryn at the airport. It was sad to see them go but I was glad we had had such a great long weekend. Not long after there was a huge electrical storm.

The day finally arrived...Tash and Todd's engagement party...it was difficult to choose photos, these are some of my favourites...

The preparations have begun...Tash was pleased to have Chris and Taryn help her buy the flowers for the party ....and then the girls had fun arranging them .

 

Closing Day at golf today...jacaranda flowers scattered over the grass, ducks on the 9th green.
