" Tash and Todd's Wedding Day"

This is just my attempt to show a few  of the highlights of what was a great day for everyone that took part...at the centre of it all were Tash and Todd...two very loving and kind people who deserve all the happiness today and every day in the future.

Ash was the first to arrive. Ash has been Tasha's and my hairdresser for many years and we were so grateful that she wanted to come down south and do everyone's hair. In the photo are Nerida, Sofie, Rachel, Tash, Brodie and Ash.

The gorgeous Steph volunteered to do everyone's nails as she is a real expert!

As one was having their hair done, another was having either makeup or nails done...such fun.... here Carmen is doing Brodie's makeup.

Taryn's hair looked magnificent when Ash had finished.

....the florist, Laura arrived and we were all stunned at how beautiful her flowers were....

The main bedroom was perfect as the girl's dressing room...

and here they are, so beautiful... Sofie, Brodie, Tash and Rachel.

...making their way down the steps ....not used to such long frocks!

It was such a fabulous morning, I so enjoyed watching these lovely young ladies get ready, they are all such delightful people, Tash is so lucky to have such great friends...

Dad and daughter, two very special people...

A moment I was looking forward to.....Chris singing "Coming home to Me" by Patty Griffin, accompanied by James on violin, as Tash and Pete walked down the aisle.

Another special moment ...Jeremy welcoming everyone on behalf of Tash and Todd and telling everyone how the couple met and about their relationship up until this day.

Hayshed Hill was a beautiful setting, the wreathe that Laura made was gorgeous...the girls looked lovely and so did the men....Brad (Todd's brother) was best man and Luke and Liam, his groomsmen.
Tash and Todd were pleased with the celebrant, Larissa.

Macario, Tasha's cousin, was the ring bearer, he looked so cute and did a perfect job.

Mr and Mrs Stokes...being showered in rose petals...

...the other Mr and Mrs Stokes, both looking very happy.

The delightful little flower girl, Sofie chatting to Xavier ...

Mandy and I with Dean and Pete....

Jeremy, Taryn and Chris...

Dean and Mandy....

Brodie and Kav

Sofie and James

Rachel and Jake

Steph and her beautiful family, husband Nathan and boys Caleb and Elijah. Steph has provided me with most of these photos. Tash and Todd requested that no phones, ipads or cameras be used during the ceremony, only Steph, the professional photographer and Phil (Pete's brother who was making the video) were allowed to take photos. Steph has managed to capture the real spirit of the wedding in her photographs, I am very thrilled and grateful that she has shared them with me.

Another special friend...Kate and her husband Jade.

Tash and Todd had photos taken before the ceremony so we were all able to begin celebrating soon after the conclusion of the ceremony...with champagne and canapes outside the winery.

Natalie, Andrei, Cathy and Rob...looking rather dazzling...

Taryn, Chris and Phil...we are all looking forward to seeing the video, Phil was putting a lot of effort  (and love) into his filming all day.

We almost look as happy as we were feeling...very proud parents.

Not only was the weather warm and balmy all day but the sunset was spectacular as well. Eric the photographer did take some extra photos of Tash and Todd and the sunset, so I look forward to seeing those shots . Tash made the display boards with the Menu and the seating plan.

Finally there was the reception. I don't have any photos of that but will post some when I get them from the photographer. It was a hugely successful celebration . The speeches were outstanding...first Ash spoke, then Pete, then the best man Brad and maid of honour Brodie. Finally Todd thanked everyone and spoke very fondly of his new wife. After a few words from Tash, she had a surprise performance for Todd. She and her music friends Paul(not in the photo) on percussion, Claire on sax, James on violin, Sofie on flute, Steph H on melodica and Steph D on glockenspiel, performed Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark. This time I did grab my phone....it brought the house down...everyone knows that Todd is a big Springsteen fan ...he had tears in his eyes.

After that there was the delicious and rather amazing looking dessert table that Krissie , another of Tasha's marvelous friends, produced and then dancing on the deck until 11.30.....it was all so perfect.
