Morning coffee in bed with a good book and delightful view....

Looks like it is going to be a warm and sunny day....perfect for cycling from one island to the other in this archipelago ...

After a delicious breakfast which arrived at our door, we set off on our bikes. The flowers in the photo are called Common Cotton Grass...

We stopped whenever we saw a track and followed it on foot....this was a rewarding view...

Shorts !!! and the jacket came off eventually too...

This is Common Cotton Grass up close...

One of the bigger bridges that connect two of the islands...Pete is on the bridge...

The rock here is amazing...blacks, whites, green and pinks...conglomerate.

So beautiful everywhere...

One of the many little lighthouses...

I think the last time I rode a bike was in Berlin nearly 10 years ago...it's true "you never forget"...

Pete and I stopped and had a chat with this friendly farmer....we learnt so much about the sheep on Vaerlandet...

A Heath Spotted - Orchid...

When we came to the end of the road on the final island we stopped for coffee and homemade waffles. Riding the bikes was a wonderful way to see the islands...and again we were lucky with the weather.

After a rest we set off on a short walk near home....

Our accomodation is on the right hand side of the photo next to the pine trees...

I took this photo at 10pm...so tranquil...
