Pete and I headed north, driving through the Coorong National Park. This was one of the first lakes that we saw.

Our next stop was 42 mile crossing. A stop here and an hours walk would take us to the Southern Ocean and back.

We were not disappointed with the view...it was awesome!

The shells were fabulous....so much colour.

Enjoyed seeing all the wildflowers on the way back.

One of the widest sections of the Coorong....lots of pelicans breed here.

We have been dodging the rain all day....you can just see the pelicans flying by...

After leaving Coorong National Park we stopped for lunch in Meningie....had this beautiful view of Lake Albert while we ate.

Our first view of the mighty Murray River in Tailem Bend.

We are spending the night in Blanchetown and to our delight, the caravan park is right next to the Murray River.

Pelicans flying by...while we sat on the banks of the river.

When we arrived at the caravan park there were dark clouds overhead....but soon after the sun came out and I saw some gorgeous reflections.

This was our view from our van...
