A little honey eater outside our van...

Climbing The Pinnacle...one of the more famous mountains in the National Park.

Beautiful views as we climb ... Lake Bellfield

The wild flowers have been such a surprise....so many that I've never seen before...

The rocks are surprising too...such weird and ugly shapes...

Amazing ....it is a lot bigger than it looks in the photo...

View from the lookout at the summit....you can just see the tourists over to the left.

Some interesting rock formations at the top...

....on way way down the mountain...

This gap between the walls of rock is called Silent Street...

In the afternoon we visited an old quarry...Heatherlie Quarry...lots of wildflowers...

One of the abandoned stone huts....the quarry operated between 1864 and the mid-1980s. Stawell, a nearby town used the sandstone in many public buildings. In 1880 the sandstone was chosen for major works on Victoria's Parliament House.

The weathered rocks and rock faces...

Our after dinner walk by the Lake....

Another sensational sunset over the mountains....a fabulous end to a fabulous day.
