Top row from left is Anne, Sue, Jonnine, Barb, Jane, Margaret, pauline and Shirley and seated from left is Angie, Judith, Lorenz , Jenny and myself. As always when we are together we had a really good time.

Tash and Rusty came over this evening for dinner whilst Todd and Brad were at the ACDC concert down the road. Mandy, Gra and Jeremy joined us for lamb on the barbeque. We could hear the concert very well from our house!

Yallingup Beach...on our final day, our last swim....

Unlike yesterday there was a huge swell....

On our way home I took this photo of the famous Dunsborough Bakery.  After a rather eventful drive home dodging bushfires we went to Ash and Jo's home for a very pleasant ddinner with Todd, Tash, Brad and Nerida  to catch up and to celebrate Tasha's birthday.

My Saturday morning swim was at Yallingup this morning. Surprisingly, there was no swell and with little breeze the water was very calm.

After the Yallingup swim, we decided to go for a look at Sugarloaf Rock.  A trip down south isn't the same without a visit to Sugarloaf. Pete and I climbed down the northern side of the look out, something we hadn't done before and were rewarded with a rather different and more rugged view of the rock.

We couldn't believe how calm the ocean was and for the first time we went for a swim in the sheltered rock pools in front of the rock. It was sensational.

Dramatic views using my zoom.

Later in the day , we swam at Picquet  Beach, the water was still clear and calm.

Ended the day with a relaxing wine with Chris and Juliet at their place.

This is Gnoocardup Beach....Pete and I walked part of the Cape to Cape.

Our own private beach, with some decent little waves to catch and crystal clear water. That's Cape Mentelle in the distance.

Further on...

Three natural springs dripping water onto the sand...

Our destination..  ....Joey's Nose , a prominant boxy limestone rock extending out over Kilcamup Beach. The cliff looks a bit like a Joey's nose....

In the afternoon we went for a bike ride along the foreshore all the way from the National Park at the end of Old Dunsborough to the new bridge that has been built over Toby's Inlet in Quindalup.

Every day that we have been walking I have told Pete to "Watch out for the snakes". Today we finally saw one, on the bike path. We think it was a dugite. They give me the creeps.

A quiet day today, the weather was a little cool. Pete and I  drove to Torpedo Rocks and watched the waves.

Sadly Michelle and Kevin had to go home today, we have had such a great time. As I said to Michelle, you know you are good friends when even though you haven't seen each other in years, you feel like you have never been apart. We stopped at the Busselton Jetty on the drive back to Perth, it was so windy, we didn't stop for long.

After saying goodbye to our dear friends, Pete and I headed back down to Dunsborough for another four days. Not often you see a camel in a cart!

Just the two of us now....enjoyed an evening stroll along the foreshore.

Another wonderful day down south with Kev and Michelle....first tourist stop was The Soap Factory...

...then some tasting at Arimia Winery where we also had lunch with Tash and Todd.

Thanks to Kevin for taking the photo, so nice to have one of the four of us. We obviously had a happy lunch experience.

Next stop was Ashbrook Winery(above) where they make one of Pete's favourite wines, and then a quick look see at the Margaret River Chocolate Factory.

We had time for visit to another of our favourite coastal spots before sunset...Wyadup or Champagne Pool as Tash and Todd call it. It was that perfect time in the late afternoon where the light made all the colours of rocks and water look so dramatic.

A final swim with Macario on Dunsborough foreshore before he, Phil and Carlo headed back to Perth then Sydney.

Michelle and Kevin at the Aravina Winery after our scrumptious lunch at The Studio.

After a huge lunch and some wine tasting, Pete and I thought a walk on one of our favourite beaches would be a good idea and guess who we ran into there...Tash, Brodie, Amy and Todd, Kav and Liam...great minds.....

The four of us on Injidup beach... and some more photos of a very pleasant walk on a stunning beach.

Relaxing after the big day....before we go out to lunch...

Tash, Rachel and Hamish at Eagle Bay Brewery, where everyone met up again for lunch, before many guests had to make the trip back to Perth.

Kate and her adorable little boy Hamish...

Amy and Tash, so lovely to see the friendship that has developed between these two...as Todd and Amy's husband Liam are such good mates.

The happily married couple.

After lunch Pete and I met Phil, Carlo and Macario at Picquet Beach for a late afternoon swim. It was the first time I'd seen Macario swimming unaided....loved it.
