Ladies from the City Beach Surf Lifesaving club coming in from the ocean with their boat...go girls!

Pauline's two beautiful daughters joined us today at the beach, Rose and Dolly.

We popped in and visited Tash, Todd and Will...here are a few photos that I took, with his eyes open.

He is so adorable.

Then I met up with some of the girls from the club to have a little celebration as it was Nola's birthday on Boxing Day.

A few of us got together tonight for drinks and dinner at the club, as an end of year celebration. From left, Barb, Charlie, me, Jane, Pete and Les...being rather colour coordinated was a fluke!

I went to bed this evening and said to Pete...how lucky are we to have such happy children. Tash , so happy with her wonderful husband and beautiful baby, Chris , here in Perth for Christmas with his delightful girlfriend Michelle and now together on a plane to Bali and Jeremy, who spent the day with one of his closest friends Lauren planning their trip to Japan next May. I am very thankful.

Dinner this evening ...we had a bit of fun.

Christmas morning at City Beach with Chris and Michelle...they arrived a few days ago but have been down south, Michelle's first visit to our lovely Margaret River area.

Stunning morning brought out the crowds, what a spectacular sight it was...

As usual we had a delicious lunch with some excellent wines...

Then we were off to visit Tash, Todd and Will in hospital.

A BABY IS BORN 

Welcome Willem (Will) Jack Stokes...this is a photo of Tash taken by Todd not long after the birth in the birthing suite at St John of God Hospital Murdoch. 

Still in the birthing suite...Tash was induced at 9.30 am and Will was born at 1.30 pm with the help of only a little gas at the end...how amazing is Tash. Her obstetrician and midwife were marvellous.

We were so fortunate to be able to share the joy later in the day in the ward. Here is the besotted uncle...

....an adorable closeup....he has a hospital beanie on as he is a little small, being born at 37 weeks...2742 gms (6 lb) 48 cm long.

...and proud Nanna Lisa, he is just perfect!
