What a lovely day I had today. After the beach I went to Silks Restaurant at the Crown with some great friends to celebrate Jenny's 60th birthday. Above are Jenny, Lorenz, Margaret and Pauline, at golf we call them the gang of four.

After Silks we walked across to the new Crown Metropol hotel for coffee and dessert. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. In the evening Jeremy and Paul came over for a delicious roast pork dinner that Pete had prepared.

Breakfast overlooking the bay and the pool...
After leaving Bunker Bay we drove out to Wyadup...the marri trees along the roadside were just covered in blossoms, it was so beautiful.
Wyadup Rocks or sometimes called Champagne Pool...it has become quite a popular spot...
Looking south from Wyadup towards Injidup and Cape Clairault...

Another stunning day ...above are the flowers from the Marri tree and they are everywhere...
This morning Pete and I went walking around the Cape, this is the view down the coastline from Cape Naturalist...
Cape Naturalist....a wonderful place to explore...
Then late in the afternoon we went for a swim at Bunker Bay...

Busselton beach...Pete and I are on our way down to Bunker Bay for the weekend....my 60th birthday present from Jeremy.
After checking in at the resort we went for a walk along the coast north of Sugarloaf...
Beautiful sandy beaches...
...and plenty of rocks to scramble over...
We weren't sure what sort of bird this was but it was quite large and majestic looking.
I loved the colours and patterns on the rocks...
When we returned to Bunker Bay we went for a stroll along the beach with the galahs...
..and Pete had a swim with all his mates!

Here is little Will focusing on his black and white stripped ribbons...I had a wonderful time with him and Tash today.
Chatting to his mum after a feed...he has so many different facial expressions, delightful.
I could cuddle him all day...
This week we have Gareth staying with us whilst he plays in the ISPS Handa World Super 6 tournament at Lake Karrinyup. Pete is caddying for him. He loves Paddle Pops and so do I!
