It was a glorious day at the club for the Brady Bowl competition. Pete and I played with Jane and Les...we all played well and missed out on winning on several count backs. I took this photo as we were walking up the 18th. The clouds had been astounding all day.

Started the day with some early games of "Genius " with Will...he's quite clever but I'm improving.

Then played with Flynn and the Duplo trucks.

I'm so glad the boys like playing board games...I have saved a heap for them to play as they grow older.
They particularly love playing games with mum.

Flynn loves my Wiggles shirt...

Playdough ...has stood the test of time...just as enjoyable as when my kids were young. Pete and I love playing with it too.

I'm pleased to have this photo that Tash took (she took over ten to hopefully have one good one). We are standing in Tash and Todd's back yard...it is so beautiful.

....on our way back to Perth...goodbye Cow Town.

The sun was out and the sky was blue so we decided to do a short walk in the bush on the way home.

It was in the Crooked Brook Forest near Dardanup....

Still plenty of wild flowers to enjoy.

The Margaret River waterfalls on Kevill Road...t'was a bit cloudy but not too cold...

Pete and the boys collected a bucketful of gumnuts  from their backyard and brought them to throw into the water. We were impressed with Ethan's throw.

Snack time... with a view.

After gum nuts it was rocks...he's waiting for Grandad to pass him some..

....realised he could find his own...

Will loves anything to do with science....in the photo he is playing with some seriously strong but tiny magnets...

Flynn with his babies.

Bob The Builder...Flynn loves to dress up.

Cowaramup Bay, Gracetown...so beautiful and quiet...

Ethan wanted to show us his rock climbing...Flynn too.

Such clear water...the boys had a great time as did Pete and I.

Loves those rocks...

I jumped in...chilly water but so refreshing...

In his own little pool...

...terrific visit to the beach.

Native flowering bush next to flourishing passionfruit vine ...Todd and Tash are doing wonders with their garden.

Ethan on the red bike...

Wandandi Track in Cowaramup ....

Daughter and father...they are alike in so many ways...

Ethan and Flynn went up and down this little hill many times....

...down the hill...concentrating and loving it...he has only just turned 2!

...pleased to see quite a few orchids in the forest.

Middle son to middle son conversation...

Bedtime stories with Grandad...

After a rather busy day yesterday, Pete and I had a relaxing day today. We visited the annual Watercolour
Society of WA, Art Exhibition in Fremantle and admired some sensational paintings.

I voted in the Peoples'  Choice Award for the painting on the right "Where the Crawdads Sing". We were tempted to buy a painting but first we would like to reframe several of ours to suit our more modern style house.

We are lucky again to have a polling booth within walking distance....Newborough Primary School. The referendum result was not what I wanted...it was nice to know that over 50% of voters in our electorate, Curtin , voted YES.

This evening it was our turn to host the Cheap and Cheerful, we had ten guests...nibbles and champagne at our house, then we walked up to Al Fornetto restaurant and returned to ours for dessert, coffee and a few more drinks. Laura, Julie, Christine and Mandy are in the photo, enjoying their champagne.

I thought I'd miss my roses in Nanson Street but I don't as I have quite a few at the club to admire.

This is a photos that appeared in the WAGC E-news this month. In the photo that was taken by Nicole our Golf Manager are all the participants who played in the Stirling Bowl.

Loving the new chalk that Sofie gave Flynn for his birthday...

A fun afternoon at Lake Jackadder children's playground...

Will went up and then down this slide too many times to count...great to see him having a lot of fun with kids he'd only just met.

Such a cutie!

I don't think he realises how quickly he is growing...
