Michael Pena and Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie "End of Watch"...saw the preview this evening...good, but any movie that has Jake acting in it is enjoyable.

I always enjoy going to His Majesty's, it is such a lovely theatre. Tonight Pete, Chris, Juliet and I went to see the WA Opera company's performance of Madam Butterfly..we weren't disappointed.

A thoughtful gift from Raffaella...a couple of old cook books that belonged to her mother. They have recipes from the Abruzzo region in Italy, where my father was born and lived until he migrated to Australia.
