How beautiful is this jacarandah?! Behind the tree is our first tee and the pro shop which is soon to be demolished. The new proshop will be incorporated into the existing clubhouse . Below is a photo of the clubhouse and the almost finished new verandah.

Day 2 of the Classic , and this morning it was very windy and chilly. I played with three friendly ladies, Heather from Wanneroo, Virginia from Pinjarra and Anne from Royal Fremantle. The Margaret River course is very beautiful and is adjacent to bush but also farming land as above, a really delightful course to play (even if you don't play very well!).
Yayy, the weather cleared up in the afternoon so Jess, Jane and I went for a walk by the ocean, near Prevally and the river mouth.
My attempt at a panorama shot on my iphone ....

Flower in the sand dunes...
In the evening we returned to the golf club for the presentations...there was a "Witches" theme...music and dancing. I had only my phone, the light was poor and the quality of the shots wasn't terrific but I want to post a photo to remember the evening. We had a ball...that's Sue Mack in the photo with Jess and I.

Day one of the Classic and the weather wasn't quite what we had hoped for, cool, overcast and drizzle. I was in the first group to tee off, with Shirley, Jenni from Royal Perth and my friend Dani from Mandurah, it was great to play with her again. The little lake on the course just looked stunning as there was no wind.
After the game, Jane, Jess, Shirley and I went for a walk along the Margaret River and through nearby forest, it was just beautiful.
