Sunday 30 August Green Head to Seabird
Today we visited Lesueur National Park on our way down the coast. It boasts an exceptionally diverse range of flora.
The flowers were amazing...
We climbed Mt Lesueur...
From the top you could see the ocean...
...and these are only a few of those that we saw!
We stopped at the Lobster Shack in Cervantes where we enjoyed a very delicious late lunch.

Saturday August 29 Mingenew to Green Head
Breakfast in our little home away from home.
Pete and I are spoiling ourselves, buying yummy vanilla slices and laminations from the country bakeries. Mingenew bakery has so far been the best....
Canola crop up close....
...we had to stop to clean the windscreen after we drove through a swarm of rather large bees.
The talc mine 10kms from Three Springs....it is the second largest in the world.
Three Springs...very pretty and tidy town...where Todd spent his childhood.
Yarra Yarra lakes...
I doubt these flowers along the roadside are natives but gosh they are pretty.
An osprey's nest in Leeman.
Dynamite Bay, Green Head
View from one of the headlands in Green Head
Sunset over Dynamite Bay....
Mingenew August 28 Coalseam National Park
The Urwin River runs through the Park. You can see the coal seam in the river banks.
The wildflowers were stunning...
....more sensational flowers at Depot Hill just a few kilometres from Mingenew ...
Dinner at the Mingenew pub ... perfect day
