The National Mosque..which doesn't follow the conventional Middle Eastern mosque design of domes and arches...it is really quite beautiful...I found the visit a very interesting experience.

Batu Caves...a limestone hill which has a series of caves and cave temples. It is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India. The site is also famous for its macaque monkeys...

Petaling Street in Chinatown...even more colourful with all the flags flying for  Independence Day.

It's really difficult to decide which photos to put up as there are some amazing sites in KL. But I would have to say the Twin Towers is the most outstanding. At night they are unbelievable. Tonight we had the Twin Towers, a full moon and  fireworks that went off at midnight to celebrate "Merdeka"...Independence Day...quite a memorable evening.

Fraser Place in Kuala Lumpur ...the pool on the 18th floor...so lovely to swim at 10 o'clock at night.

Pavilion Crystal Fountain...so pretty...both day and night...we walked past it quite often on our way into the main shopping district.
