Cottesloe Beach....today was one of those really wild and windy winter days in Perth. Pete and I drove down to Fremantle, stopping at Cottesloe on the way to see the ocean...I don't think I have ever seen waves like these at Cott before, and the wind just about blew me over.

The bad conditions didn't deter the fishermen though....I took this shot from North Mole, the not so windy  side!

I took this shot from the northern side......and was drenched in the process.

Today was our Charity Day at the club, where we invite members from other clubs and the public courses to have a game at our club and all the money raised goes to charity.  I only chose a couple of photos...above is the welcoming party of Jenny, Lorenz, Pauline and Margaret who offered tea, coffee and home made goodies to our guests before the game.

Our captain Jan and our previous captain Glenda preparing all the cards for the players...the sun had only just risen! We were lucky to have a glorious day and our course looked lovely. It was a fun day and we raised a substantial amount of money for Breast Cancer Support.

Today we won the 1st Division of Northern Suburban Pennant  competition....for the second year in a row. In the team from the left is Jan, Teresa, Judith, Angie, Helen, myself, Jane and Julie. What was really exciting was that we also won Div 2 and Div 3....for the first time in the club's history. Needless to say there was a lot of celebrating !!

Today we had pennant training in the early afternoon and then Jane W (there are five Janes in our golf club) and I played 9 holes. On the tee at the 7th there was a kookaburra sitting on a grass tree spike....he sat there quite happily while I took his photo from every angle.

It was a rather pretty sunset as we were coming up the eight fairway....
