Our usual beach swim on Saturday morning...but today we are at Middleton Beach in Albany. Being so far south the water was a little colder. There was me, Mandy, Julie Wright (who lives in Albany) and Margot....and Hugh joined us in the water while Pete took the photo.

In the afternoon, Pete and I set off for some sight seeing. This is Cable Beach in Torndirrup National Park, absolutely gorgeous.

The famous Natural Bridge in Torndirrup National Park.

Also famous is The Gap , a spectacular channel in the 40m high coastal granites of Torndirrup National Park.

Looking downwards.....

The rugged coast near The Blow Holes.

Stunning Goode Beach with its squeaky white sand.

Julie Curtis's birthday party at Julie Wright's lovely new house in Albany. In the photo are Julie C, Mandy and Tash.

We had a wonderful night, eating, drinking and dancing. Here Margot, Laura and Mandy are dishing out the leftover curries for people to take home.

Our little house in Albany. Pete and I are here to help Julie Curtis celebrate her 60th birthday.

After drinks at the Earl of Spencer pub all Julie's friends walked to Liberte Restaurant.

What a fabulous night we had. The restaurant inside is beautiful and the food was very different and delicious. In the photo are Brian (Julie's husband), Adele, Graeme, the birthday girl, Julie and Mandy.

Pete, Jeff, Christine and me.

A delayed Father's Day breakfast at our place this morning ....Will, Ethan, Pete and I had been a bit under the weather. It was lovely to be in the sunshine.

Flynn's first visit to Nanson Street....he is such a contented baby.

It was nice to see Jeremy and Paul who seemed to enjoy Pete's breakfast from the bbq.

Pete and I had a really fun morning at the park with Will and Ethan. After spending the last week at home because we were all unwell, it was great to be out in the sunshine and see their smiling faces.

Giving Pete a push, they thought this was hilarious.

Imaginary play on the boat....

On my way to the train station after lunch with Nat...always enjoyable.
