Pete and I enjoyed a lovely lunch with Margaret today at the Woodbridge Hotel in Guildford.
Such a beautiful old Pub.

Stunning waves today, reminded me of Queensland beaches
The storms had brought in so much litter...this is some of what we picked up.
There was a deep trough before a sandbar which had a rip that we floated along in...glorious swim.
Colouring in the sunshine.
Once it had warmed up Will and Ethan made this Spidey car.

Will and Ethan have come for an overnight stay...I thought Ethan was quite clever to use this circle stencil.
Will liked the stickers...
One of their favourite activities is playing with little branches that Pete chops out of our bushes.
Busy making their cubby under the trampoline.
Very proud of their cubby
Toasting marshmallows
Story time by the fire
Although they are in a queen size bed they fell asleep like this... such sweet boys.

The winds and rain are taking their toll on our golf course. We started playing in the rain but luckily it eased after a few holes. Difficult conditions to play in though...have never seen the course so wet!
Always love to see a rainbow...Anne and Angie on the 11th green.
Tree branches everywhere except the fairways which our green keepers had already cleared.

Not as much rain as yesterday but very big wind gusts. When I took this photo of the lemon scented gum behind our back yard, the wind speed was 54 km/h.
I saved some of my freesias that were being blown over by the wind....they smell amazing.

The view from Jeremy's new office window in the BHP building...a very dreary day in Perth today.
I was glad to have this beautiful book to read that Natasha lent me...beautiful photos and so well written.

Enjoying the rainbow...
A wild and rainy Saturday morning...we picked up lots of litter. After the walk Jenny, Margot and I decided it wasn't safe to go for a swim, there was a large swell and very choppy. We did however enjoy a hot coffee and a chat in Clancy's, the original restaurant in City Beach. We must have looked like three drowned rats when we walked in. Thanks to Margot for the great photos.
