The Ladies Club Championships were played today. We were all thankful that it was fine and only a slight breeze. We were so impressed at how pristine the fairways were after what was a terribly windy day yesterday...the groundsmen did a fantastic job to have the course looking so good for our Championships. This photo is the second fairway...and the next photo is the sixth fairway.

Heidi Pearce...our Club Champion for 2023....runner up was Janine Northrop. Heidi is a delightful young lady who is hoping to be a teaching Pro one day. 

 

Will is so proud of his successful science experiment..changing the flowers colours from white to red and green, using food colouring. 

Neighbours Polly and Max are walking to school with Will....dressed as old people...there is a lot of celebrating this week at Cowaramup Primary...it is their 100 year anniversary.

 

This isn't a black and white photo...it is the view from our bedroom window this morning...a huge storm hit Perth and most of the State.

Later in the afternoon, the rain stopped but the wind blew until the evening.On my way to Mahjong I stopped at City Beach to see the ocean...very angry it was.

The tower gives you an idea of how large the waves were.

Another enjoyable walk and swim at City Beach....the sun came out as we entered the water...
