Family gathering for Mandy's birthday...

Storm damage...dreadful erosion at Floreat Beach...and so much rubbish washed up.

So nice to see them playing together...

A miserable, stormy day today, luckily we have grandchildren to keep us smiling.

Pete, Mandy and I visited the Stokes today to help Tash as she has burnt her hand. 

It is wonderful to be able to play golf again....but that's all...no practising before or after the game and no entry to the club house. Sometimes it feels like we are the only group on the course.

My bookclub (no2) met up today at Lake Jackadder to discuss my book "Educated' by Tara Westover.   Everyone thought it was a wonderful book, we had a great discussion and enjoyed the sunshine.

Mothers Day...I had such a lovely afternoon and evening with Pete, Tash, Todd, Jeremy, Paul, Will and Ethan...

After a few stormy days it is always interesting to see what has been washed up. 

The big black blob is a sea hare. There were quite a few amongst the seaweed. I had never seen one before, hadn't even heard of them.
