Will looking so grown up these days. Tash and the boys met Pete and I in Kings Park this morning. A nice thing to do on Pete's birthday.

This evening Jeremy took Pete and me to Bathazar....what a wonderful experience, it was sensational.

I'm not usually one for taking photos of food but I didn't want to forget this dessert ...so delicious!

 

Pete and I went down to the beach for a quick swim this morning....I loved seeing all the nippers on the sand and in the water.

Then home to watch the Australian Open that we had recorded. We aren't huge tennis fans but it was fabulous to watch Ash Barty win the Australian Open...such a humble and appreciative winner.

This evening I went to my bookclub friend Vanessa's book launch at the Kidogo Arthouse in Fremantle. 

Vanessa in the pink dress reading some chapters from her book. I'm looking forward to reading it.

 

Natalie and I celebrated her birthday today at this new restaurant in the city...food and wines were delicious.

I have been so taken with the birds on my walks around Lake Monger. There are so many of them this summer, I can't remember there ever being this many. So I took my DSLR camera to the lake late this afternoon and took some photos.
