View from our bedroom window this morning. Pete and I are staying in a cosy cottage on a vineyard in Kaloorup ( 20 minutes from Cowaramup).

The local skate park is only a ten minute walk from their home...

On our way with Auntie Mandy to watch Will's race at his sports carnival. There was only a slight drizzle which didn't last long.

This is Will running before his long jump......absolutely enjoying himself!

The egg and spoon relays....I just loved watching all the preprimary students, they all seemed to be having a ball.

Pete and I left Perth after my golf game today. We arrived at Tash and Todd's house in Cowaramup just in time to see Flynn on his new red scooter. He is amazing...only 19 months old and  can scoot and almost keep up with his big brothers.

Happy boy....

Ethan showing me his scooter tricks...

The geese on the Kwinana Golf Course....not something you see everyday...

We had perfect weather for the Kwinana Silver/Bronze event...the course looked sensational...and the lunch was terrific.

Delicious breakfast with Tash at Little Sisto...fabulous food and only a five minute walk away.

Friday, 24 March 2023

Tash bought us these gorgeous flowers from the protea farm on her way to our place today.

Sunset from our front balcony....nice for Tash to see.

Tash came up to Perth by herself to do a bit of shopping ....so nice to have her and Jeremy for dinner. Jeremy brought the champagne and Pete cooked a delicious meal.

Before Tash came up to Perth she attended Cowaramup Primary
School's assembly. Will received his first Honour Certificate...we are all so proud of him.

Shortly after sunrise at our golf course....

The practice chipping green....

The practice net...the sun is a bit distracting.

A young Rusty on our day bed in Nanson Street...

The same day bed on our upstairs balcony in Alice Street. Pete did the painting and I recovered the cushion...quite pleased with the result.

Tuesday, 21 March 2023

One of the more interesting Eucalypts on our course...such long droopy branches.

The seventh fairway...great company today with Jane W, Sue M and Janine B, lots of laughs....and I won the comp with 36 points...happy days.

I have so many framed photos...but not as many places to put them as I had in Nanson Street. Tash suggested ledges in our upstairs hallway. Many of the frames were made of wood and rather dated so I bought quite a few new black and white frames from Ikea and Office works. We are thrilled with the result.

A cool morning at the beach...nice to catch some waves.

A first for Pete and me...kitchen bench stools...love them.

Tuesday, 14 March 2023

I managed to get a shot of this red-tailed black cockatoo on the golf course this morning. They only visit our course for a couple of months each year.

The bay was even more beautiful this morning...what a wonderful start to our day...

Posing...

So happy....

Goodbye Geographe Bay....

A stop at Little Peach coffee shop before our drive home.

We love staying at the Amalfi as it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach...Jane and I went this morning at 8 am and it was so calm...

Crystal clear water...

On our way to our afternoon golf game....noticed these clouds...

After our game and the presentations of prizes we thought a swim and a spa would be very relaxing...

So glad to see this little possum on the pool fence...

Today was also Chris' birthday...although it would have been nice to be in Melbourne to celebrate with him and Michelle...I was pleased to know that they were enjoying the weekend at a friend's farm, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thanks for the photos Michelle.

Busselton Golf Course....looking stunning against the glorious blue sky. It was a perfect day for the first round of the Geographe Ladies Classic...unfortunately my golf wasn't perfect.

Geographe Bay this afternoon....we saw a large sting-ray...the dark blue blob.

....enjoyed a really refreshing swim...

Sue came to join us....

Had fun in the pool.... (got to love the white feet!)

Dinner at the club...we arrived early to get good seats for the after dinner show. From the left, Jenny, Jane, Janine, Sue, Karen, Irene...Thanh took the photo.

The Busselton ladies put on quite a show! It was so entertaining...had us in fits of laughter.

The lovely Roberta and Jan from Yaringa Club...fabulous to catch up with friends from other golf clubs.
