A cold rainy day in Perth....at home all day ...a good day for Pete to put together two new bedside tables.....

 

We are participating in Daffodil Day Dip to raise funds for Cancer research and support ...it starts in August...take a plunge ....

Pete and I love receiving photos of these four ...all looking so happy and healthy ...it was a delayed get-together for Jeremy's birthday.

 

Four  friends, freezing cold...4 degrees this morning at golf... Laura, Gaye, Irene and Marjorie....

A cold and misty morning ...couldn't see the city ...had an enjoyable game with Mandy and Glenda D.

We played the Dunes and Lake courses ...

Then there was the rain and  strong winds....

It is a very difficult course to play in fine weather but near impossible play in today's

 conditions...still, we had a good time, it is one of my favourite golf courses.

 

Lake Gwelup ...I'm going to do some walking in preparation for our walk in Japan...

 

A fabulous book of music that the kids gave me for my birthday...I am so enjoying it....

Tash is teaching Will to play the piano and he is so enthusiastic .....One of the best birthday presents , seeing them play together...

There is nothing as exciting as a visit to the Lego Shop which is in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre, 10 minutes away. Another great birthday present treating the boys to some new lego.

An enjoyable birthday lunch ...

We had a quiet afternoon building with the new lego ....Will and Ethan don't need any help building their lego...

I helped Flynn...but he didn't need much help..

Will chose a bamboo plant ....not what he usually chooses ...he put it together in two hours ...it had 18 and up on the box...I was so amazed ...

So proud of himself ...lovely to see...

 

It's the school holidays and the Stokes family have come to stay a while...Ethan just loves to draw...

I'm glad Pete and I kept so many board games that our children loved ...Battleship is one of them...
