Morning walk to the Cove Market on the Dunsborough foreshore ...and then to the bakery for a treat.

Mandy thought Teddy would like a long walk too.

Another Nuytsia tree in the Swings and Roundabouts Winery carpark....

....where we enjoyed a delicious lunch of wood fired pizzas....

The view from the restaurant ....the vines are looking so healthy and green.

Such beautiful gum trees in front of the restaurant .....

An afternoon swim at Pt Picquet (the eastern side of the point)

I think this would be one of the most enticing beaches in the bay.....

....the colour of the water is dazzling...

We were on our way back down to Dunsborough (while Jeremy stays up in Perth to spend time with Paul) when we stopped at the Myalup  Miami Bakehouse.   The Miami Bakeries have won many awards and their coffee is excellent too.

It is a lovely place to stop and admire the KangaArt whilst enjoying your coffee and cake. The KangaArt is a display of 16 life-size kangaroos beautifully painted by local WA artists in this outdoor gallery.

I just loved this cute little dog "Teddy" that Mandy and Graeme are minding for a few days.

Another stunning Nuytsia tree outside the Eagle Bay Brewing Company. The tree is commonly known as the WA Christmas Tree.  It is also known locally by the Noongar people as the Moodjar tree ( considered sacred to the Noongar people, holding special spiritual significance as the keeper of spirits who have passed).

Chris, Michelle, Pete and I visited the Brewery for lunch.

Gorgeous red flowering gum trees...

....which are endemic to the south-west of WA.

The view from the restaurant...

Lovely views, delicious lunch.

Later in the afternoon Pete and I went for a walk along the South Bank River Trail in the Bramley National Park ( now called the Wooditjup National Park), close to Margaret River town.

It is one of the many walks in the park....

...the Barrett Street Weir...

Such a beautiful forest of Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees.

....Margaret River...
