I am in the process of reducing the number of photos I have and putting them in some sort of chronological order...a big job but I am enjoying it...brings back many wonderful memories ...

This is the book I am currently reading.  I think it is  absolutely fabulous...so well written...a wonderful story......I have read two of Charlotte's other books and they too were very enjoyable. She is an Australian writer.

 

There was only the two of us at the beach this morning...Pauline and me....we were so excited to see a dolphin only a couple of metres from the shore...we have never seen a dolphin at City Beach before. In the photo are some swimmers ...I can't imagine how excited they must have been. I didn't have my phone with me but a sweet young lady that I chatted to sent me a video after I gave her my phone number.

 

I had another lovely game with Mandy at WAGC today...

We both played well and had lovely playing partners...Karen and Glenda A....shame about the hat hair in this photo...

 

South Trigg beach....I don't think I have ever been to this beach before....I was so amazed at the number of surfers in the water....

A beautiful Sunday morning ....the water was clear and cool.....Pete and I took a coffee to enjoy after our swim...

While we were at Brighton Beach Todd was swimming the " Busselton Jetty Swim"...This is a photo taken from a video clip that Tash put on Instagram of Todd completing his swim...and his boys and Tash were there to see it...I'm so proud of my son-in-law, well done Todd.

 

This week the Australian Amateur Championship  is being played at our golf course. Other clubs welcomed WAGC members to play at their courses....today I played at Mt Lawley Golf Club. I just noticed so many of their grass trees...

The bunkers had this amazing long grass growing behind them...makes the course a little more difficult.

How beautiful is this tree! It is a lot bigger that it looks in the photo...

I played with Janet, Mardi and Angie ...we all struggled with the greens as they were soooo slow compared to ours ....but we had a fun time and enjoyed the course...in the glorious sunshine with a little sea breeze. After the game we sat with four other members from WAGC and had lunch and a few laughs.

 

Another scrap quilt...I'm slowly go through all my scrap materials ....I'm hoping Will, Ethan and Flynn will use this in winter when they are on the couch watching TV.

Happy Birthday Peter....we had a delicious dinner at Bodega restaurant ....just the two of us ...a little gem of a place that came highly recommended by several friends.

Phillip next door entertaining us all at his and Jen's home on Robbie Burns Night....a party that Phillip and Jen have every year to celebrate the life and poetry of the famous Scottish poet, Robbie Burns.

We enjoyed a delicious sit down dinner ....it is always interesting visiting next door as their house is a mirror image of ours....

After dinner we sat outside and sang....seated at the back is Pete, Russell, Peter, Vanessa, Jarrad and Katy. Sitting in the front is me, Sarah, Emma and Emma's dad who is visiting Perth from Scotland.

Noah, Amalia, Caroline and Fiona.  It was a lovely evening....great food, music and company.

After breakfast we did some puzzles...Flynn was singing the alphabet song...

Will was ecstatic when he finished this puzzle...it is extremely difficult...neither Pete nor I have done it...Todd has after quite a few tries.

An indoor game...as it was boiling hot outside...20 toilet rolls bowling...the boys loved it. 

In the late afternoon after it had cooled down a little we practised our batting...hitting the ball off a toilet roll and trying to send it through the door of our garage. This is Will...I think he looks like a professional!

Ethan is a big cricket fan too ....

Flynn loves to be included in any competitions...actually, he was the first to get the ball through the door...big brothers were impressed.
