I took this photo while we were standing on the first tee at our golf course...a bit frightening...

The siren sounded just as we were putting on the first hole....we had to return to the clubhouse due to the lightening...

The clouds were amazing...and the thunder was deafening...

Many of us were standing under the old proshop and were watching the lightening strikes and they were happening very frequently....

It was, I think, the wildest storm I have ever witnessed on our course....play was abandoned ...but the morning ended happily with us all having a coffee and eating delicious cupcakes made by Glenda's (Deveson) daughter for Glenda's 70th birthday.

Wonderful beach north of South Trigg....swimming flags up between the surfers' areas...

Again lots of surfing schools ....and good waves..

 

While the big boys play handball before breakfast, Flynn and I did some drawing...

Rusty is looking a little older every time we visit, but he still loves to fetch ....today it was his toy lion.

Flynn built this all by himself in record time...

I used to love playing with these hot wheel tracks when my children were little...I still do...Flynn and I had a fabulous time together.  Not long after we were on our way home.

 

Glorious morning to be at the beach....no kindy on Thursdays, so Flynn was able to come with Pete and I...

Fun in the afternoon at the train park....I was amazed that Flynn could make this digger work all by himself...I can barely do it.

Always fun to visit the ducks on the bridge over Margaret River...

...Pete, Mandy, Graeme and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Wild Hop Brewing Company ...to celebrate Pete's birthday in January and Graeme's in March. Great food and a very relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the bush.

I am in the process of reducing the number of photos I have and putting them in some sort of chronological order...a big job but I am enjoying it...brings back many wonderful memories ...

This is the book I am currently reading.  I think it is  absolutely fabulous...so well written...a wonderful story......I have read two of Charlotte's other books and they too were very enjoyable. She is an Australian writer.

 

There was only the two of us at the beach this morning...Pauline and me....we were so excited to see a dolphin only a couple of metres from the shore...we have never seen a dolphin at City Beach before. In the photo are some swimmers ...I can't imagine how excited they must have been. I didn't have my phone with me but a sweet young lady that I chatted to sent me a video after I gave her my phone number.

 

I had another lovely game with Mandy at WAGC today...

We both played well and had lovely playing partners...Karen and Glenda A....shame about the hat hair in this photo...

 

South Trigg beach....I don't think I have ever been to this beach before....I was so amazed at the number of surfers in the water....

A beautiful Sunday morning ....the water was clear and cool.....Pete and I took a coffee to enjoy after our swim...

While we were at Brighton Beach Todd was swimming the " Busselton Jetty Swim"...This is a photo taken from a video clip that Tash put on Instagram of Todd completing his swim...and his boys and Tash were there to see it...I'm so proud of my son-in-law, well done Todd.
