Sadly our liquid amber tree was lopped today. It had a disease that caused it to drop large branches which we considered very dangerous. I thought this chap was pretty amazing, it was bloody big tree.

Tash and Todd's verge which they have transformed from a big sandy patch to a beautiful wildflower garden....so impressive.

Will this morning at the Floreat Beach children's playground...we absolutely loved having him overnight.

Pete and I walked around Herdsman Lake....something we had never done before despite the fact that it is down the road. 

Surfers at City Beach... very rarely do we see them here but there was a 5 metre swell....needless to say we girls just threw ourselves in the wash.

This afternoon and overnight we are minding young Will while Tash and Todd have a night in town at the Westin Perth. Above, Will playing with one of his favourite toys, the duplo tow truck.

In the afternoon Pete, Will and I walked up to the local park. Will played and played with this huge Tonka truck that has been left in the park for others to enjoy. We think it really tired him out as he slept soundly from 7pm until 7am.

This is another photo of Chris and Michelle in Japan, one I particularly like. Today Chris rang and told me the wonderful news that he and Michelle are now engaged...how exciting!!

After our visit to Jeremy and Paul's apartment we all came back to Nanson Street and had dinner...including Tash and Will.  Will and I took a selfie of him showing off his new onesie with a digger on the front.
