Our italian lessons came to an end but luckily the friendships didn't, this evening we all got together for our usual end of year gathering at my place...with the husbands as well...and had a most enjoyable night. (Maree, Helen, Mandy, me and Pam)

Whilst on the subject of libraries, I went and had a look at how our new City of Perth library is coming along.....it is going to be fabulous when it is finished! (It was a shame it was so overcast after work this afternoon as the building looks quite dreary...will have to take another photo when the sky is blue).

This morning Marguerite, Juliet and I walked along the river at Maylands, the water was like glass ...

 

  

and this is the sculpture called "Shimmer" that is near the river in East Perth, I have been wanting to photograph it for ages, and just stumbled upon it this afternoon!
