We played for a special trophy today...the Budden Trophy. Dawn (Budden), who is well into her 80s and still plays good golf, made the trophy. She has taken up woodwork since her husband died. My friend Jane was thrilled to be the winner. 

And there were more celebrations...four ladies had birthdays this week and decided to bring a huge cake. Above is Julie, Belinda, Mardi F, Jan, Anne, Angie and Glenda.

We are having such beautiful autumn weather in Perth, just perfect for golf. This swan returns to our lake every year...he seems to get along well with all the ducks and swamp hens.

 

Moving day for the Stokes family....my job was to take Flynn for a walk so he could have his morning nap.

Pete and I took the boys to the park today so mum and dad could start packing for the big move tomorrow.  Isaac was at the park, the boys were pleased to see him.

 

Cottesloe Golf Club....view from the 18th green...such a beautiful day for the Silver/Bronze event...you could see Rottnest so clearly. I had such a lovely afternoon and evening.

 

It was quite exciting to see the black sky as it has been a while since we have had really heavy rain in Perth. Today was the Eunice Ross Silver Tray event ...luckily I started in one of the late groups and didn't get too wet.
