Walking home from the restaurant "Witch"s Caldron" where Pete and I had dinner...the first of his birthday celebrations.

 

This afternoon after golf, Pete and I  enjoyed hearing Grace Woodroffe in concert at the Fremantle Arts Centre. It was still warm but pleasant under the trees with a glass of wine listening to good music.

Yes, I am having fun playing with the photos and an app from my iphone.

 

Roger Waters and his band in the concert of "The Wall" at the Burswood...simply sensational concert...visually amazing and the sound was fantastic ... the wall was erected while the band performed and then demolished at the end...incredible show.

 

Another hot day...we are indeed fortunate to have air conditioning..this is where I spent a large part of the day, reading and playing the piano.

 

Catherine Triacos performing as the support act for Beth Orton at the Quarry Amphitheatre..delightful music, great company(Tash,Todd and Peter) and an exceptional skyshow of rolling clouds and lightning.

 

We're having a heatwave! Still crowds of people at City Beach this evening at 7.38. The temperature reached 41.1 degrees and it's going to be hot for at least another week!

 

Cassia fistula  -  Golden Shower tree - native to southern asia  -  I look forward to them flowering every year. This one is across the road from my local IGA supermarket.
