Another hot day in Perth, but we are having some lovely sunsets...I took this from our back yard ...although it drops a lot of leaves I do love this tall gum over the back fence.

Winthrop Hall at the University of Western Australia ....A filmic projection onto the facade of Winthrop Hall tracing the key moments and characters in the University's history....just one of the many attractions at Luminous night, a celebration of art and culture to mark the centenary of UWA. The show went for 20 minutes and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face, it was awesome!

Perth Concert Hall...50 years old this year and still looking good...Tonight Jane and I enjoyed a wonderful concert ...Australian Chamber Orchestra performed.

 

I just love it when a package arrives at the door...usually it is a book but today it was the materials I had ordered for my next quilt...and I love them!
