The highlight of the Blues 'n' Roots festival for me was Rufus Wainwright..really fabulous performance, just him and his piano or guitar. Also enjoyed performances by Bonnie Raitt and Paul Simon today. As always it was a great music festival.

Big crowd to hear Robert Plant at the West Coast Blues 'n' Roots Festival...also enjoyed Chris Isaak earlier in the day and Kitty Daisy and Lewis were great too. Fabulous Day.
A plane flying over The Vines golf course where I played my first pennant match today. I lost but the team won. It was a day of big blue skies, big green fairways and greens and big bunkers!

The Royal Perth Hospital helicopter taking off...I can see the helipad from my window at work...next time I will be a bit quicker with my phone and try and catch him landing.
