I was eager to try my new iphone 6 this morning, so I stopped on the way to work to take this shot of Claisebrook Cove, always a scenic little part of Perth.

 

My car is being repaired at the moment so Pete drove me into work this morning. I have wanted a photo of the freeway into the city for a while...it might be interesting to look back on in future years.

 

This is photo of my uncle Rocco Torrebruno (who was at one time a famous singer in Spain) with Elvis Presley...at the Moulin Rouge...Mandy found this on the internet recently ...amazing.

 

This morning Barb, Marguerite and I went for a walk around the streets of Leederville and looked at some of the walls that had been painted recently by urban artists. The above was painted by Daleast.

It isn't often that City Beach looks like this....sooo flat ...lots of pretty shells....and crystal clear water.

 

Mandy, Maree, myself and Pam...Pete took this photo on his phone as were leaving Pam and Russell's home after a delicious meal of freshly caught crayfish! Helen was there too but left a little earlier. 

 

Poppies for Anzac Day on the Cottesloe Golf Course...where we had our pennant game today in beautiful sunshine.

 

This is the book that we did for bookclub tonight...we all loved it.  We were to find out next morning that it had just won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction, a deserving winner.
