Driving south on the freeway and it's pouring with rain. Although it is nearly nine thirty, some street lights are on. But we optimistically drove on towards Mandurah.

The sun came out not long after we arrived at Dani and Adrienne's house south of Mandurah where we had a cuppa with an anzac bicuit or two. Then Dani, Jane, Pete and I played a game at the Mandurah course. Their kangaroos love banana skins and sometimes will eat them out of your hand.

Crayfish was for dinner at Pam and Russell's home this evening. They catch them when they go over to Rottnest on their boat and generously share them.

Peter, Craig and Ivar on the new balcony of our club house. They were watching as we ladies had our metro pennant training.

Jane waiting on the 5th tee....she and Les had a game with us after our pennant training.

This is how high our rough is at present, as Idrus our greenkeeper is making the course as tough as he can before the WA Open next week.

After our game this afternoon , there was as official "opening of the balcony" ceremony . Following that, Jane, Les, Barb, Chas, Pete and I went out to a local Thai restaurant for dinner.

Valerie, Irene, Judith, Gaye, Angie and myself...winner of Div 1 NS Pennant competition, Jand and Jenny didn't play today. We had to win 5 of our 6 matches,  so we were very pleased with ourselves. We played Wanneroo at Mt Lawley.

The sky this morning, while I was waiting for Margot to pick me up for the beach.

And some noisy, black galahs in our liquid amber. When they have finished chewing on the seed pods, they drop them on our tin roof (above our bedroom!).
