Unfortunately this morning wasn't a good morning for our walk and swim. Julie, Mandy, Pauline and I sheltered under Clancy's restaurant until the rain stopped, but after only ten minutes it returned and it was so cold,  we decided to go home and stay warm. 

A dull, grey sky in Perth today.....I heard the seed pods dropping on our tin roof so I raced out and took some photos of the galahs ....a blue sky and sunshine would have given me clearer photos but these do capture how gloomy the day was.

Cathy and Claire at book club this evening....always a cosy night with the fire, wine and good conversation. This month we read  "The Storied Life of A.J.Fikry" by Gabrielle Zevin, we all agreed it was a very enjoyable read.

Our lemon tree is laden with fruit, luckily we love lemons.

Cookbooks are not something I buy very often but I absolutely love this one.

Perth skyline....I took these photos from the third floor of the State Library.   It will be interesting to look back on these photos in future years.
