Andy kindly invited Pete and I to the football today (lunch in the dining room included of course). Pete and I really appreciated it as we don't get many freebees anymore. Although the poor old dockers were thrashed it was wonderful to be there for Pavlich's 350th game!

What a fun night we had at the club tonight. Barb, Jane, Janine and I , together with our husbands really enjoyed a yummy dinner then the live music and dancing. It isn't the best photo as I used the iPhone and there was little light, but I thought it such a happy photo, I would post it.

Cathy and I enjoyed a peaceful walk around Lake Monger...her first.

I used to love The Seekers, so I thoroughly enjoyed this musical.

Walking from my house to City Beach...

On our way home now, but I wanted a photo of the very green pastures down in Margaret River.

We stopped in Dunsborough to visit Brad and Nerida and meet their beautiful daughter Harriet, such a cutie!

Peter on the 10 mile Brook Dam, a new dam built in the 1990s to create a new supply of water for the growing township of Margaret River.

Nearby is the 10 Mile Brook Trail which runs alongside the Margaret River.

We started following one trail which led to the above...a flooded Margaret River. We went back to the beginning of the trail and found the winter loop, which was still rather wet and full of puddles but passable.

Ever now and again we would get really pretty glimpses of the river.

The forest was full of blackbutt, jarrah and marri trees.

Sat the iPhone on a log...
