Michelle and Chris at City Beach...heading home to Melbourne today...sad that they have to leave but  we had a fantastic few days and will see them in December if not before (in Melbourne).

Making the coffee for the affogato desserts....we had another delicious meal (Pete cooked paella) with Chris, Michelle and Tash...Todd is down south and Jeremy has flown to Melbourne.

I'm so thrilled to have him home and absolutely delighted to meet Michelle.

Tonight we celebrated (belatedly) Pete's 60th birthday...Chris and Michelle arrived in Perth this afternoon for a long weekend in Perth. I think everyone enjoyed the dinner, we certainly had enough food and conversation.

Another beautiful day in Mandurah....Pete and I went for another long walk after breakfast before it became too hot.

Town Beach....in front of the resort...

On our way back to Perth we travelled up the old coast road rather than the freeway. We hadn't been on this road in years so we noticed quite a few changes. Above and below are shots taken at Coogee Beach which is becoming a very popular spot. Not only is the beach beautiful and the water very clear, it is also the first metropolitan beach to be netted.
