Last night I arrived in Brisbane. This morning Michelle and I went for an energetic walk around her suburb of Wavell Heights. I so enjoyed seeing all the old wooden houses that so remind me of my childhood.

Later in the afternoon Jo (an old school friend) picked me up to drive me to Montville where we will be spending the weekend with thirteen of my old St Rita's friends. We are here together to celebrate turning 60! Above is the view from the rather large and spacious house (lodge) that we have rented. The water is Baroon Pocket Dam.

Our first swim in Spring...it was pretty nippy but we had the beach to ourselves and the sun was out.

It was a little chilly and wet this morning at golf, even the little ducklings were huddled up together to keep warm.

My first jonquils are blooming, the bulbs were a birthday present from Barb Elliott.

Pete and Ron on the 17th green where Pete won the Senior Club Championship today. It was a very exciting game to watch, they both played beautiful golf.
