Treated myself to a manicure and pedicure ...almost ready for Christmas.

 

That time of year again when we, Saturday beach walkers celebrate Christmas and friendship with a delicious brunch. I forgot to take a photo of all of us. This photo will remind me of the enjoyable morning at Margot's house.

Pete received this certificate at Sir Charles Gairdner hospital today for all the driving he has done over the years, taking patients to and from the hospital. I am so proud of him.

 

After a fabulous Christmas morning tea at the gym I headed over to Studio Black to have my hair coloured and cut. It will be my last appointment with Ashleigh for some time as her twins are due in February. 

Ash has been my hairdresser for over 17 years ( I think)....and a good friend.

.....looking very tidy with my short hair cut I went to Pam's house to have nibbles and drinks with my Mahjong friends...it was our last get-together for the year.

Jean's granddaughter took this photo of us all (except Gay who is sick)...Pam, Shirley, Genny, Helen, Jean, me, Rebecca and Sheridan. I am loving the game mahjong and really enjoy my time with these ladies.

WAGC Ladies' Xmas Party Day

The theme this year was "sports"...the karate women are Margaret, Lorenz, Pauline and Jenny...

How good do they look?! These ladies have just moved up to play 18 holes from the 9 hole competitions. Nellie, Jenny, Romana and Anne are sports commentators...they won the prize for best dressed.

Jane, Janine, Jenny and I are obviously cricketers. Being four of the smaller people in the club we realised that we could have dressed up as jockeys.

Idris, our green keeper and his team set up a very challenging and interesting course of par 3s for us...you can just see the various obstacles on the putting green. 

Santa's helper Majella handed out lollies to all the players.

Glenda, Kerrie and Lee had the prosecco. Lee being one of the organisers of the day.

After lunch was the viewing of costumes....Jan Harman was the judge. I thought these ladies, who are all rather new to the club, were clever to find these short dresses ...volley ball players!

Would you believe that we had two groups that dressed up as shuttlecocks...hilarious.

The Greek olympians...quite an original idea....Lyn is hiding behind her flame...the others are Lisa, Linda and Heather.

Tennis players...from the left, Marjorie as Lleyton Hewitt, Helga is Maria Sharapova, Judith is Steffi Graf and Angie is Serena Williams.

And here we have the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team...Lee, Belinda, Glenda A. and Glenda J.
