Playing Take Two after dinner....

 

The beautiful Somerville outdoor cinema at the University of Western Australia...

 

Juliet Marguerite and I....with Chris, Pete, Dave and Barb enjoyed seeing the Belgian film  "Two Day, One Night"

 

Jane, Jess and Sue at golf today...we had fun despite the heat....

 

It was 37 degrees, even the maggies were thirsty.

 

The view from the balcony this morning...we are leaving today....will miss this.

 

 Dunsborough foreshore on a perfect morning....Pete and I had one last walk and swim...

 

And after our swim... a trip to the bakery...pretty good start to the new year.

 

An amazing and very attractive kinetic sculpture at the Yallingup Garden Gallery...it moved so gracefully in the wind...Pete and I spent the morning visiting the various art galleries in the area.

 

 

Smith's beach, in the late afternoon....had a glorious swim and then a glass or two of champagne on the beach with Chris and Juliet...

 

Tash and Todd stayed with us last night and this morning we set off rather early to the Olive Oil Soap Factory...this is their driveway...(we enjoyed listening to the cricket on the way!)

 

Next stop was Hayshed Hill again for another quick visit...Tash took this photo of Pete and I.

What a fabulous day we had today.....

 

Hayshed Hill Winery...where we had breakfast with Todd, Tash, Jo and Ash....this is where Todd and Tash are getting married next year.

After breakfast we stopped off at the place we call The Aquarium which is a little spot along the coast near Canal Rocks..

 

 

...there are calm, crystal clear rock pools deep enough to swim in and also some areas where the waves come crashing in, with views up the coast..

...the beautiful beach is covered in little broken shells..

 

 

In the evening we all met up again at Meelup for a picnic dinner ....

 

and a game of Kubb (outdoor game)....

 

....then watched the sky change colours over the water as the sun set...
