What an enjoyable  day...40th birthday celebrations for Michelle at the club today after our golf and then this evening Pete and I went to see "The Secret River " at His Majesty's....

 

Festival of Perth Visual Art Display at the GPO in Forrest Place. It is called "Of All the People in all the World" by Stan's Cafe....I popped down after work and saw it. It is rice that you are looking at and every grain represents one person...

 

We now have two lovely Bondonno girls working in our department..Cathy's daughter, Nicky is doing an Honours degree with us this year.

 

One of the corners of my home...I have always loved this stained glass window that Pete made.

 

Waiting for it to start...Kate Grenville and Anna Funder (two of my favourite authors) at the Octagon theatre.

 

Foyer of the State Theatre Centre  ...Pete and I saw a marvellous production there tonight..."Mission Drift"performed by a New York based group of young performers call The Team...very different.

 

University of Western Australia...venue for the Perth Writers Festival..Jeremy and I enjoyed some wonderful sessions.

 

ABC recording studio in East Perth where Jeremy and I went to see the recording of Jennifer Byrne Presents.... four fabulous guests..Tom Holland, Loretta Napoleoni, Ahdaf Soueif and Jared Diamond.
