Tash and Todd cooked us a beautiful dinner this evening to celebrate Father's Day with Pete.

On the practice chipping area watching the black cockatoos fly over...

This is the newest art piece in Fremantle. The sculpture by Perth artist Marcus Canning was constructed from nine recycled sea containers....it is called Freo Rainbow....clever, amazing and just puts a smile on your face.

As it is the first day of spring I thought I would post photos of flowers. This beautiful flowering tree grows in front of our clubhouse at WAGC. I don't know what it is called but it is nearly always flowering.

Last year Marjolijn gave me a pot of flowering daffodils . When they had finished flowering I planted the bulbs and now (for the first time in my life) I have some very pretty daffodils in my garden.

The first blooms on our ornamental cherry tree.

I don't often take photos of food but this meal was so delicious I had to mention it. A new vietnamese restaurant , called Yellow Pancake has just opened up the road. Marjolijn , Mike, Pete and I went up and tried the food this evening, and were so impressed. I think we will be going there often.

The Silver Spoon play off was held at Gosnells Golf club this year and I was fortunate enough to represent WAGC. I didn't play that well but I did manage to win a nearest the pin. Gosnells is a lovely course and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Mandy, Margot and Julie bracing themselves as they enter the very cold water, hoping that it won't pour with rain before we finish our swim.

We again had the beach to ourselves (not surprisingly)...only our friend Danny the lifesaver was on duty, for which we are very thankful.

Crazy ladies!
