Today Sofie and James were married at St Joseph's Church in Subiaco. What an enjoyable service it was! Since they are both music teachers the music that they had organised for the occasion was simply stunning. Here they are happily married leaving the church , with a little glimpse of the beautiful maid of honour behind.

Our Christmas tree that Pete chopped down this morning...it smells amazing. We then spent an hour or two decorating it whilst listening to Christmas Carols such by King's College Choir.

Another wonderful year of book club meetings. Tonight was the last get together for one of the clubs and last Thursday was the other. These are the books that we enjoyed reading this year. My favourites were "The Dry", "The Weight of Ink" and "The Underground Railroad". 

Isn't this pretty ?  I spotted it on the thirteenth fairway this morning.

Just Marjolijn and I at the beach this morning and we were so lucky. The rain came after our walk, swim and coffee. 

My new mixmaster, which I bought with some of the voucher that my golfing girlfriends gave me for my birthday. My old mixmaster was 35 years old.
