A little chilly this morning but the sun was shining ...today the Stirling Bowl was played at WAGC.....it is a competition between Lake Karrinyup Golf Club, Mt Lawley Golf Club and WAGC. We won....

Listening to directions from our Captain Robin before going out onto the course.

Helen Egan (Ladies President) and Robin Edwards (Ladies Captain) holding up the Stirling Bowl ...although we started in sunshine, heavy rain and high winds began not long after we began to play...thankfully we had a wonderful three course lunch waiting for us back at the clubhouse when we finished.

The team who won!

Eating some of Ethan's birthday cake...

Yummy....

Sofie, James, Ben and new bub Indi visited this afternoon while Tash and family are in Perth. In the photo are Tash, Indi and Indi's proud dad, James.

A rather difficult task getting the five of them to sit still...Ben with Indi, Will, Flynn and Ethan...

Ethan in the bath...he is a thinker!

The Hannon/Ireland Mixed Competition was held today. Pete and I played better than we usually do, won a prize for our joint score and I won a 'Nearest the Pin' on the ninth. Sue and Rod were our playing partners, good day all round.

Bright red bottlebrushes are flowering all over Perth...they look stunning on the golf course.

Returning to Perth...having fun taking photos with my new phone...

Forrest highway (and that is the correct spelling)...both sides of the road were covered with wattles in flower...

I'm pretty impressed with this phone's camera...we were travelling at 100 km/hr.
