Pete and I started the day with a visit to Pt Picquet...

....always beautiful

Today is Flynn's 4th birthday ....Tasha suggested we do some climbing at Sugar Loaf Rock...

...exploring...

...such lovely weather ...

...they are agile little rock climbers...

Special treat for Flynn's birthday ....a visit to Simmo's ( Lisa was very happy too).

As well as a fabulous children's playground there was also some well used children's rides ..

In the afternoon Pete and I went for a walk to Quininup Falls ....the last time we saw the falls there was only a trickle of water.

It was a perfect afternoon for a walk...cloudy and no wind ...

....from the falls to the ocean at Quininup Beach.

The clouds came and went, we were so lucky.

A game before bedtime ....

What a sensational day....

Jacinda's book was chosen for book club ...I decided to listen to it being read by her ...I have only ever listened to one audio book and didn't enjoy the experience. But...I am enjoying " The Different Kind of Power"

All the wattles are looking lovely on the golf course...especially when the sky is blue.

A big treat ...television while they ate their breakfast ...

The boys had watched a Minion movie, which was very entertaining....Ethan made this mask all on his own...such a clever little chap

Flynn was very proud that he had found these puzzles in the cupboard and had put them together all by himself.

We arrived at the airport just in time to see Tash and Todd's plane land...

...and watch it move along the tarmac to Gate 12.

They could see the pilots in the cockpit and also the Jet Bridge being attached to the plane ....

So happy to see Mum and Dad....

A game of chess before breakfast...

At Innaloo Cinemas to see "Smurfs"....it is the boys' first time at the Cinema ...and they were pretty excited. It was a great film, I loved the music. It was the perfect outing on such a horrid rainy day.

After running around the house playing with bouncy balls the boys settled down to do some crafts...none of which I had suggested. Will wanted to do some finger knitting which he had done before but had forgotten.

Ethan thought he could do something with some wool too....

Flynn enjoyed glueing sticks...

Playing "Rummiking", one of the many board games that our children loved and that we had kept. I was amazed at how quickly Will and Ethan could understand how to play.

Some Charlie Brown comic strips from the 60s to the 90s ...we read them together and had a lot of laughs.

Watching the sun rise from our bedroom window...

Reading while Nanna makes breakfast...

Fruit and yoghurt for breakfast ....

It was Flynn's wish that we go on a train ...

Watching themselves on camera and one of the city stations...

....the boys loved this sculpture the last time we were in the city and they thought it was great this visit too..I love Ethan's poses...

...such a great children's playground on The Island at Elizabeth Key...

So nice to see some sunshine...

After all the climbing and walking Will, Ethan and Flynn relaxed in front of a movie and ate an ice cream.

A lovely photo that Michelle took and sent... I was so pleased to see them all together and enjoying each other's company
