More studios to visit today....the artist of these stunning paintings is Lauren Wilhelm .....

Such talent....

Lauren had a gorgeous garden too....

This photo was taken at The Farm Margaret River....where there were three artists studios ...all different and such a pleasure to visit.

...the artists' view from their studios...

....flowers everywhere...

A bush walk from the car to the home, studio and garden of the famous artist Leon Pericles ....

The garden is magnificent ....literally hundreds of different plants, many that I have never seen before...

Plenty of art in the garden ....

....and fish...

The inside of the house was even more interesting...

I could have spent hours in his studio ....his work is astounding and unique ...

At the bottom of Leon's garden are the Margaret River waterfalls .....Pete and I had never seen the falls from this side of the river ...there was, not surprisingly, so much water.

On our way back to Dunsborough we went for a walk along the beach at Yallingup ...it was such a beautiful time of the day...

High tide at Yallingup lagoon ....

Pete and I have come down south to celebrate Todd's 40th birthday. Fortunately the Margaret River Region Open Studios is happening this and next weekend. This morning we went and visited several of the artists' studios....

Our first stop was Stefanie Stokes' Ceramics studio in Dunsborough.....and these flowers were in the centre of an absolutely beautiful studio...

I just loved her pottery ....the whole room was stunning ...

Our next visit was to Kim Kiosses' studio...Kim is an Aboriginal artist and her work was astounding ...her work has intricate detail....

...like Stefanie Stokes, Kim presented her art so tastefully ...of course these artists have a flare for interior design ...

Happs Commonage Pottery... a quite famous attraction down south, a place Pete and I have visited several times over the years. Now there are exhibitions of work by Gary Hambleton, Colin Pratt and Jenny Taylor.

We had fun with Flynn in the afternoon at the Busselton foreshore playground while Tash had a hair appointment.  He is such a happy child.

Even happier with an ice cream....he didn't spill a drop on his clothes ....Dad taught him how to eat an ice cream...

Before bed stories with Dad....

On the road to Dunsborough ....the acacias in full bloom ....

...and plenty of yellow daisies amongst the grass....

After settling in at Mandy and Graeme's house Pete and I went for an afternoon walk along the foreshore...

Wildflowers galore in the rough....

Very green grass after all the rain we have had this winter....

The winning team....WAGC ...we were all so surprised as we beat Mt Lawley on their home course...
