WAGC  Ladies Christmas Celebration

It was a glorious morning , we all gathered outside the clubhouse in our costumes. The theme was "being part of a music festival".

Lynne, Jenny, Romana and Nellie were dressed as Nana Mouskouri....

Lisa D, Jieun, Jisun and Inni were dressed as the Spice Girls ....clever...

Jenny, Jonnine and Irene as "Kiss"...Doris was late (as usual).

The Hippies are Judith, Angie, Anne and Marjorie and the Bay City Rollers are Carol, Ruth, Sally and Janet.

Every year Idris our Course Superintendent and his greenkeepers put this little boat in the middle of the lake. We have a little side game where you pay $2 got three balls and try and hit them around 55 metres into the boat.The highlight of the day for me was that Dawn was one of the four golfers who hit it into the boat. Dawn is 91 years old and is a legend! 

The dining room.....we enjoyed a delicious lunch....

Followed by some performances of the bands ....The girls as Kiss won the best dressed....Irene, Jenny, Jonnine and Doris ....and they played golf in those clothes. We all had a lot of fun ....

Breakfast at Voyage Kitchen with the beach girls....unfortunately Pauline couldn't make it ...not the best photo of me ( there never is a best one!)....I'm not very good at selfies. 

 

This morning paper planes were being made at breakfast....

Then soccer with four balls on the trampoline in their PJs....

I cherish watching these three gorgeous boys let and laugh on the trampoline.

That time of year when the eucalyptus trees are losing their bark ...quite frustrating for the green keepers I think.

We have quite a few agapanthus on the course...so pretty. 

Pete picked me up after golf and we set off for Cowaramup...we arrived in time to watch Will at his cricket practice...he is on the far right of the photo in the black boots. Loved seeing all the kids playing....
