It was a small highlight to an otherwise ordinary day at work...Danie kindly shared a big bowl of lollies to celebrate her birthday...Natalie pointed out how pretty they looked...and I thought they would make a great photo.

 

Lunch at Sassella's...Rujia, Alex, Annette, Natalie and Cathy....belated birthday lunch...I am lucky to work with such clever and delightful people...and to have them as my friends.

 

I know , another flower closeup, but I couldn't resist this one...on the Wanneroo Golf Course where Pete played his pennant match today.

After a delicious breakfast at Hayshed Hill, we called in at Ashbrook winery. Juliet and I walked along their road in...gorgeous karri and bluegum trees line the road.. vines on the left and black and white cows on the right...

a lovely day...my birthday...view from the verandah this morning, drinking my coffee...then lunch at The Studio with Pete,excellent....Chris and Juliet arrived in the early evening and we enjoyed a great meal (which the men prepared) and evening together.

Greens and Co in Leederville....Nat and I caught up with Sara for a coffee and a chat after work...very excited to see the cover for her new book which is soon to be published...can't wait to read it,sounds fabulous.
