The beach this morning...before the temperature rose to 40 degrees.

 

This is the beautiful Subiaco Memorial Clock Tower, situated up the road from the Subiaco Library.

 

Mavis and Jan enjoying a beer after a rather hot game of golf. Mavis caddies for her great grandson when he plays junior pennants and Jan's son has just been made a judge! I love and admire them both.

Home made panforte...a gift from Jackie ....that we each received this evening at our bookclub dinner.
