Pete and  visited the beautiful old Cygnet theatre in Como this afternoon to see the movie "Philomena". The theatre was built in 1938 and is now on WA's Heritage Register. The movie was fabulous.

 

The beach was a little more crowded than usual this morning as the temperature soared to 44 degrees!

 

 

 Tash and I had a lovely time browsing in "Calico and Ivy" this morning. She bought some beautiful liberty materials with her gift voucher from Chris.

 Me, Cathy and Natalie at Public House...another birthday to celebrate, this time it's Natalie's.

 

This evening I went to Somerville Outdoor Cinema with Barb, Marguerite and Juliet. This cute little kookaburra was only feet away, hoping to be fed.

 

Pot of flowers on my front steps....it's the little things that cheer us up.
