Father's Day....Pete began his day happily on the golf course. Whilst I played with Jane, Jessie and Janine, Pete played with their husbands, Gerry, Greg and Les. It was a beautiful morning...and whilst we were waiting to hit off the 9th, this kookaburra kept dipping into the lake and then sitting in the sun.

....and  in the evening, dinner with Jeremy, Tash and Todd....

Today we had the pleasure of attending Jeremy's Admission Ceremony at the Supreme Court of Western Australia. It was a really interesting and enjoyable occasion and we were so proud of Jeremy.

After the ceremony we, and all the other parents and grads were invited to a morning tea at Allens....again, most enjoyable, Pete and I were so impressed with everyone from Allens, such friendly people...below is the wonderful view over the Swan River from their offices.

Today I played in the Women's Silver Spoon playoff at Lakelands Golf course. The course is surrounded by strawberry farms, flower farms and paddocks of horses, a little different to my inner city golf club. It was a dreadful day weather wise (you can see why it is called Lakelands) but I enjoyed the game, played with Jan from Mandurah and Joy from Bolgart.

Murray Street mall in winter....Pete and I had a lovely afternoon shopping, bought him a new suit for the wedding...it is so unfair how easy it is for men to buy clothes!

Saturday morning walk....Floreat Beach

Thursday, 20 August 2015

Tash, Todd and Rusty came to dinner tonight, Rusty's first visit to our house. After exploring the back yard and running after a ball countless times, he fell asleep on my lap. I'm glad Todd picked up my phone and took this as he won't fit on my lap for much longer!

Well today it rained...we still went down and had a look at the beach, very wild and bleak it looked. Still, we had an enjoyable day looking about the local shops and stopping again in Busselton on the way home for coffee and cake.
