This morning we met Tash in Fremantle for a coffee at Moore and Moore Cafe. I just love walking around Fremantle amongst the beautiful old buildings. Above is High Street looking down towards the Round House.

In the same building as the cafe is the Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery where there was a wonderful exhibition of paintings by Peta Miller. I think I would have bought one if they hadn't all been sold already.

I had a lovely breakfast with Cathy this morning at Kailis Restaurant at Trigg Beach. We were lucky to have a beautiful view of the sunny sky and blue green ocean before the clouds came in.

Perfect Monday night, knitting whilst watching the British Open Ladies Golf. 

This morning we drove up to Swan Valley and had breakfast with Brad and Margaret at Taylor's Arts and Coffee House.

In all the years that we have been going to City Beach I have never seen the sand look like it did this morning...little pieces of sea weed and the windswept sand around them...it looked quite amazing.

There were only the three of us, Marjolijn, Pauline and me. We didn't get wet but it was blowing a gale and the water was freezing and very rough.

On our walk to the shops with Dean this morning, Mandy and I noticed this gorgeous vine growing along a fence...Hovea I think.
